— Digital Art Print · Arturo Delaté

Sometimes the downfall isn’t falling. It’s discovering what was holding you up.

Downfall is part of Influencers, an original collection by Arturo Delaté honoring the people, experiences, and encounters that—knowingly or unknowingly—helped shape the person and artist he is today.

A figure climbs from an open book toward a cloud, carried upward by a ladder emerging from a box of memories, identities, and inherited colors. Around it, scattered letters refuse to form an easy answer. At the bottom, a tiny sprout remains. The work explores the strange relationship between falling and becoming: the moments when what once seemed to support us disappears, forcing us to discover what can actually hold our weight.
